Acrecent is a privately held company engaged in the financing and leasing of commercial equipment.
Established in 2003 by James Connor, former President of GE Capital Puerto Rico, and Raul Cacho, SVP
of Banco Popular, we are a regional platform focused on financing middle market businesses. In 2013,
Darby-ProBanco, a fund managed by Darby Private Equity, made an investment in Acrecent to help
support its regional growth.
Headquartered in Puerto Rico, we also serve Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Outside of
Puerto Rico, we focus on transactions between $500,000 and $2 million, but we fund smaller and
larger transactions as well. We provide 100% financing and while we have MGA's with EXIM Bank for
both loans and leases, we are willing to hold the risk not guaranteed by EXIM Bank.
